Corporation and board membership

The General Church Corporation oversees the finances as well as the day-to-day affairs of the organization.

Corporation members have the opportunity to discuss and vote on fiscal and organizational business at Corporation meetings. The Corporation delegates certain decision-making powers to a special committee called the Board. Board members are nominated from within the Corporation membership, and Corporation members vote on the Board nominees.

In order to become a member of the Corporation, you must be a member of the General Church for three years or more and apply for Corporation membership. Your Corporation membership is active 30 days after receipt of your application; the Executive Bishop approves your application.

If you would like to join the General Church Corporation, please fill out the form below or contact us at outreach@newchurch.org.

Daily Inspiration

"It is a law of the divine design that the closer and closer we come to God, which is something we have to do as if we were completely on our own, the closer and closer God comes to us. When we meet, God forms a partnership with us."
