Forgiving others

Date Recorded: 18 Oct, 2015
Location: Sarver, PA
Topics: Charity / Life of Use / Service, The Lord / God, Forgiveness / Repentance

Forgiveness is a process that grows out of our relationship with the Lord and spiritual maturity. However, the work we have to do to forgive grows us. Forgiving actions or words calls on the best of us and helps us to begin real forgiveness. Especially if we do it prayerfully following the instructions of Scripture.

Reconcilation

Date Recorded: 25 Oct, 2015
Location: Sarver, PA
Topics: Charity / Life of Use / Service, The Lord / God, Bible / Word of God, Forgiveness / Repentance

Reconciliation is the final step in the process of healing hurting relationships; the burden of reconciliation rests on those who have wronged another. To step into this phase productively, we have to be able to own our faults and express regret. The ability to own our faults grows most productively out of our own reconciled relationship with the Lord and our sense of His love and forgiveness in our lives.

Daily Inspiration

"You cannot be spiritually reborn without some knowledge of the new or spiritual life, of the true things that you ought to believe and the good things that you ought to do. You cannot learn these things on your own, because on your own you can comprehend things only through your physical senses. Your physical senses give you information about the material world and yourself, not about heaven and God. Spiritual knowledge comes only from revelation."
