A Moment of Peace

A daily practice of thinking spiritually and focusing on the Lord are key elements to a fulfilling, peaceful life. Devotional reading is a wonderful starting place. It gives you a reason to pause, focus your mind, and be intentional about your thoughts and actions. The Lord is always looking for ways to help us, and to bring us closer to Him. When we reflect on higher things, we create those opportunities for connection.

About the Program

After you have completed the simple registration form above, you will receive an email asking you to confirm your subscription. This helps us avoid bots and make sure you get the best experience possible. Once confirmed, you will start receiving a daily email every morning, with a quote from New Church theology. The program is free, and you can unsubscribe at any time. We hope it will help motivate and encourage you on your path of spiritual growth.

What is New Church Theology?

New Church doctrine is based on the Bible and a collection of books written by Emanuel Swedenborg. His work, inspired by God, gives new understanding to the Bible, as well as the afterlife and the nature of God, ourselves, and the universe. It is defined by messages of hope, unbounded love, and spiritual freedom.

Here are some examples of the type of quote you'll receive:

"Peace has in it confidence in the Lord, that He directs all things, and provides all things, and that He leads to a good end." (Secrets of Heaven 8455)

"Loving one's neighbor is doing what is good, fair, and right in every task and in every function." (New Jerusalem and Its Heavenly Doctrine 106.4)

"During our spiritual tests, we are apparently left completely alone, although in fact we are not alone - at those times God is most intimately present at our deepest level giving us support." (True Christianity 126.6)

"If we believed that - as is truly the case - everything good and true comes from the Lord and everything evil and false comes from hell, then we would not claim the goodness as our own and make it self-serving or claim the evil as our own and make ourselves guilty of it." (Divine Providence 309.3)

"It is beyond my words to express my total appreciation and joy from getting these. During the year, I start each day by reading the Daily Inspirations and then going into the ‘further explanations of that quoted’ line. It is followed by reading from the Word that is easily accessed at the end of the expanded quote explanation. These offerings are incredible!" Dana
