Corporation and Board Membership

The General Church Corporation oversees the finances as well as the day-to-day affairs of the organization.

Corporation members have the opportunity to discuss and vote on fiscal and organizational business at Corporation meetings. The Corporation delegates certain decision-making powers to a special committee called the Board. Board members are nominated from within the Corporation membership, and Corporation members vote on the Board nominees.

In order to become a member of the Corporation, you must be a member of the General Church for three years or more and apply for Corporation membership. Your Corporation membership is active 30 days after receipt of your application; the Executive Bishop approves your application.

If you would like to join the General Church Corporation, please fill out the form below or contact us at memberservices@newchurch.org.
