Perhaps the heart of 'letting god in' is realizing God is already there.
I am touched by these words from Emanuel Swedenborg; "It can never be said that God is outside of anybody" (Heaven and Hell #54). This quote expresses beautifully this deepest, most sacred idea that God is deeply and intimately present in every fiber of our being.
