The Lord's Prayer

Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done,
As in Heaven so upon the earth.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our debts,
as we also forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the kingdom
And the power and the glory forever
Amen.

– Matthew 6:9-14

Skye's words

Dearest Friend, whose holy name
Arches across eternity:
Help me, today to do a little less “needing,”
And a whole lot more “bringing.”
And may every continent take a seat at your table
To share bread. Then when only the crumbs remain,
Keep me going. Bless everything I don't understand.
And if I cannot find the grace to send, today,
To the graceless and the discouragers,
Send it to them on my behalf. Yours is the Love
That keeps no borders or tallies. And may
My every prayer end with "Thanks,"
And with listening.
